Actor Yoon Kyun Sang will be taking on his first lead role!
The upcoming historical drama, 'Rebel: The Thief Who Stole People', is based on a real-life character named Hong Gil Dong who lived during the Joseon era, and it'll be directed by producer Kim Jin Man, the same director of 'Kill Me, Heal Me' and 'Scandal: A Shocking and Wrongful Incident'.

In regards to his first lead role in 'Rebel', Yoon Kyun Sang said, "There is a bit of pressure because it is my first lead role but I'm going to do my best and transform perfectly into the role of Hong Gil Dong. The role, being based off a real-life character, made me curious and I'm currently studying how to best depict the revolutionary character."
'Rebel: The Thief Who Stole People' will be airing toward the beginning of 2017.
