Previously, Sulli and Hara engaged in a photo shoot together. The former posted one shot onto her Instagram of the two in a T-shirt with the words 'Johnson's Baby Oil' on it and then took it down after a controversy arose with netizens claiming this was 'lolita' and too sensual.
Months later, Hara posted a new picture of the two of them, but netizens are surmising that this shot was taken from the same photo shoot. She wrote on December 27, "Just because I wanted to leave behind a pretty picture." There's mixed response with some people defending the girls, either denying this shot to be too 'lolita' or saying what's wrong with 'lolita' anyway.

The people who seem put off by the photo wrote, "Isn't that a picture from the same photo shoot with Sulli last time from which they posted a picture and erased it because they got criticized so hard for its being a 'lolita' photo shoot? Did she purposely post that or did she do it unknowingly? She's thoughtless, too," "Lolita concept. Neither of them is in her right mind is she?" "Why don't you guys ever wear pants? Do you forget to?" and more.
However, a lot of comments also defended them, asking, "I have to let it be known that the people here are ignorant. What's 'lolita' about this? They're wearing long sleeves and no pants. Does that mean it's 'lolita'??"
