Heechul explained what Super Junior means to him.
In an interview with OSEN on November 23, Heechul was asked about his group of 11 years. He gave an answer filled with affection, saying, "In the past, we were like a family but now we're more like a married couple; a relationship where you still sleep together under one blanket after a fight. We are in a relationship where we can be together even if we age and not promote as often. To be honest, I used to think of cool things to say to answer this type of question but now no descriptions are needed."

He continued, "I'm not the type who openly expresses [feelings] to dongsaengs but at times I go to their performances to support them. I just nonchalantly greet them but they all know my personality. We are really family. Next year, Siwon, Donghae, and Eunhyuk are returning so Super Junior should make a comeback too. We are drawing a lot of possibilities. Please cheer us on."
