Rapper Jessi is reported to have been involved in a physical altercation.
On November 17, the Apgujeong Police Station revealed officers were called to a music video filming at a club due to reports of an assault. The police told media, "There was a group including Jessi and another group including male A. There was a quarrel between the two groups because of a greeting, and the altercation developed into a physical fight."
Mr. A is said to have accused Jessi of hitting him, which she reportedly denied. The police continued, "Their statements were conflicting, but neither side wanted a penalty. After speaking, they ended their conflict on location."
Reports say Jessi was present at the club to make a cameo in Double K's upcoming MV. Double K stated, "I think there was a misunderstanding. The filming ended with no problems."
Jessi's agency YMC Entertainment also stated, "The assault is not true. They didn't even fight. Jessi and A are good friends. They were playing around when someone mistook their actions and called the police. It was just something that happened, and there are no problems."
