Her approval rating fell to 4% and this is an all-time low in history for any President in South Korea according to Gallup Korea. Additionally, the President's disapproval rating rose to 93%, which is also near an all-time high.

Shortly after being elected, President Park's approval rating reached a high of 63% in September of 2013. Her approval rating has fluctuated since then but it dropped tremendously after the Choi Soon-Sil scandal was made public.

Earlier today, an estimated 1.9 million across the country gathered in their respective cities from Seoul to Busan to protest against President Park. In Seoul alone, an estimated 1.3 million gathered to protest for the President's resignation despite the cold weather.
