Nam Joo Hyuk discussed playing the role of a professional swimmer for the second time! 


At the November 15 press conference for MBC's new drama, 'Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo', Nam Joo Hyuk talked about his character. This is his second time portraying a swimmer -- his first time was in 'Who Are You (School 2015).'

The actor explained, "I am playing Jung Joon Hyung, a genius swimmer who is more comfortable in water than above air... This is the second time I am playing a swimmer, following last year. At this rate, I might become a professional swimmer in real life." 

Nam Joo Hyuk added, "I actually chose this role, not because of swimming, but because of Jung Joon Hyung's character itself. While I was reading the script, I realized that he is a swimmer." As for his swimming skills, he said, "I won't die from falling into the water."
