Back on October 15, B2ST's contract with Cube came to an end and the group announced that they'll be promoting under a new, independent label. Unfortunately, it's been close to a month since their announcement, but no major progression has taken place in their plans.
An insider revealed that B2ST was originally planning to establish a label with an investment by a Hong Kong entertainment company. However, various factors including schedules, size in investment, and such inhibited the group's plans. Furthermore, B2ST's inability to keep the rights to their group name and songs has become a large obstacle. Meanwhile, Cube's offer for B2ST to remain under the label still exists.
According to a recent report by an insider, "The members have great hopes about creating their independent label but as the plan fell apart from the start, the possibility of the group returning to Cube became an option which can't be ignored in this situation. If B2ST do return, it's most likely that Cube will create a sub-label to support the group's independent promotions."
Will B2ST ultimately have no choice but to return to Cube? Stay tuned.
