An elderly lady who donated money that she saved up all her life to help students in need is warming up people's hearts in Korea.
Seo Bu Duk, a 76-year-old grandma from Bosung, Korea, donated 80,000,000 KRW (approximately $70,000 USD), to the Bosung Scholarship Foundation. She saved this money by working as a street vendor for 50 years -- selling kimbap and hot dogs as well as dried fish and other food items.

The grandma started working when she was 25-years-old and was unable to go to school because of financial difficulties. When she injured her back 2 years ago and couldn't work, she began to think about the young students who can't go to school because of poverty.
Grandma Seo said, "I want to offer a little bit of help to those students who are studying hard in a difficult situation and give them hope and courage so they can become someone great."
