The post that is going around Korean online communities contains a GIF of V doing the following: 

You can see Jin putting his hand between V's hand and the fan's hair to stop V from shaking the fan's hair. Jimin is looking on as well. 

When netizens started to comment negatively about V's action, the fan in the GIF and the video started to defend V in the comment section. Below is the screen shot of the fan's comment: 

"I'm totally fine...?" 

"But I am fine" 

The negative feedback continued, however, making the fan write a detailed explanation of the situation, reassuring everyone that she was not offended. The following is the fan's message: 

"I am the person who is in the controversial video. First of all, I am a long time fan of BTS, so I have known Taehyung (V) oppa for a long time, we are friendly and goof around a lot. That day, I was especially glad to see him because it had been a long time since I went to a fan event, so I think he did that jokingly because he was happy to see me. One thing I want to clarify is that he did not pull my hair. He just tugged it enough for me to lift my head, and I am lowering my head not because of pain, but because I was a bit embarrassed to be photographed. So please stop saying bad things about Taehyung oppa."
