During an interview with Star News, Lee Joon shared how he uses malicious comments for his benefit.
To the question asking about where he gets acting advice, Lee Joon said, "I find them on the internet. I read malicious comments, and they make me think, 'Oh, my acting was like that.' I also read compliments."
However, Lee Joon said he wasn't able to use malicious comments for his current film 'Lucky'. He explained, "I usually monitor everything regarding my acting, but I wasn't able to for 'Lucky' because the movie did so well. It's hard to read all the numerous reviews."

Lee Joon then continued to talk about malicious comments, saying, "To be honest, I do get hurt sometimes after reading malicious comments, but I accept them. I try to understand no matter if it's compliments or criticisms since it's my job. I try not to show [my feelings] to others, so I just spend lonely time at home. When I think back it's a problem that I need to accept."
