A grandfather was arrested and is being investigated for attempting to set his granddaughter on fire.
On the night of October 12, a 76-year-old man threw gasoline at his 25-year-old granddaughter and set the house on fire.
The granddaughter quickly escaped the house and was not injured, but the grandfather incurred injury from inhaling the smoke.
The 25-year-old testified that she and her grandfather did not have a good relationship prior to the incident. The 76-year-old insists that he did not intend to actually set anyone or anything on fire but was only trying to scare his granddaughter during an argument.
