ASTRO's MJ, whom some of you may know as Kim Soo Hyun's alleged lookalike, appeared on tvN's third episode of 'Variety HR' on October 24!
On this day, he revealed that he lost 10 kg (~ 22 lbs) in three weeks! He revealed, "I originally had gained a lot of weight. I had a double chin, too. I ended up auditioning because I was accompanying my friend, and at the time, a rep told me that if I lost weight, [the rep] could turn me into a singer. That's why I lost 10 kg in three weeks," surprising everybody.

Regarding how he accomplished this feat, he said, "I ate one meal a day. Before 6, I ate what I wanted [for that meal], and then after 6, I kept working out." Sounds intense. Then again, the whole aspect of losing that many pounds in such a short time is intense.
Park So Hyun, who had brought him on the show to support him, stated, "I understand why that representative told MJ to lose weight at the time. He's someone who has that much talent and skills." She then gave interesting facts about the group and MJ with, "There are six members in ASTRO; one has a birthday in January, one in February, and then four in March. Also, MJ is special for having a beauty mark above his lip like EXO's Baekhyun."
