Lee Jong Suk melts hearts by participating in fan-run donation project for his own birthday

This September 14 marks the model-turned-actor's 28th birthday (27th internationally), and to celebrate, his fans launched a special donation campaign by each giving 9,140 KR? (~ 8.11 USD). Any fan who wished to participate could simply deposit the money in a fan-made bank account, with the collected donations going to help childhood cancer patients. 

But imagine fans' surprise when they found out that Lee Jong Suk personally looked up the fan-made bank account, and deposited 9,140,000 KR? (~ 8,100 USD) himself toward the giving campaign!

His unbelievably generous gesture has not only earned him the rightful nickname of "giving angel", but also compliments from fans like, "I just can't fall out of Lee Jong Suk anymore...", "I love you Lee Jong Suk (heart)", "Respecting fans'!", and more.
