Any fan who wished to participate could simply deposit the money in a fan-made bank account, with the collected donations going to help childhood cancer patients. 

But imagine fans' surprise when they found out that Lee Jong Suk personally looked up the fan-made bank account, and deposited 9,140,000 KR? (~ 8,100 USD) himself toward the giving campaign!
