MR.PIC's CEO stated the reason for their choice, saying, "We believe that Kwanghee is a strategically fitting model [for our app] considering that he serves as a representative character of typical Korean consumers in their 20s and 30s purchasing a car for the first time. We plan to promote an aggressive marketing campaign with Kwanghee especially because this is the two-year anniversary of the app's inception."
The new campaign featuring Kwanghee will be revealed sometime this month via offline channels.
