The actor opened up about the hardships he encountered while filming for 'Fantastic' during the drama's showcase on September 23. The actor described how difficult it was for him to intentionally act in a terrible and cheesy manner for the series. He said, "What concerned me most was having to act terribly. It gets more difficult the more you do it. It burdens me that the terrible acting should be something that the viewers should enjoy."

However, Joo Sang Wook had nothing to worry about because viewers of 'Fantastic' seem to be generally impressed by his great "terrible acting"! The actor added, "I'm thankful that the response is better than I expected, and I thought I was just acting in an overdramatic manner but I think it worked out well in the end. I'll be sure to show cooler terrible acting in the future."
