Police have stepped forward to investigate the case of daycare instructors who are suspected of abusing the children in their care.
Busan Ilbo reported Monday that teacher 'A' and director 'B' of a daycare in Busan's Gijang County were booked without detention for charges of child abuse.
According to the report, Busan Gijang Police Station went ahead to investigate the case upon receiving a tip early last month from a parent who suspected child abuse. The police procured surveillance footage to aid in their investigation, and the footage revealed that teacher 'A' continued to force-feed a child food despite the child gagging. Aside from this footage, police stated that they have secured various other instances of child abuse through the CCTV.
