2NE1's Dara was met with a ton of fans in her second home country, the Philippines, during filming for the KBS 2TV show 'Battle Trip'.
The 2NE1 member is known to have lived in the Philippines for 10 years, and she also achieved a good amount of stardom in the country before she left for South Korea. While walking around, Philippine citizens shouted out, "Sandara," still recognizing the star after all these years.
Model Kang Seung Hyun commented in surprise, "I thought Sandara was a greeting in the Philippines because they said it so much." The MCs also said, "Dara's fame in the Philippines is on the level of Lee Hwi Jae in South Korea," but Dara responded jokingly, "They know me as much as Yoo Jae Suk."
