Announcer Park Eun Ji, who was originally a weather forecaster, commented on the portrayal of the occupation on SBS's 'Incarnation of Jealousy' through Gong Hyo Jin's character. Already one weather forecaster on a major broadcasting company relayed complaints about it.
Park Eun Ji was a bit more easygoing, writing on her Instagram, "First broadcast of 'Incarnation of Jealousy'! I come out too~ I play announcer Park Jin! But weather forecasters don't wear butt pads. I never wore them. It's probably just for fun, right? I come out briefly, so search for me."

Regarding the controversy around the degrading portrayal of weather forecasters, the show said, "We have no intention whatsoever to criticize the occupation of weather forecasters. The character is portrayed dramatically because it's a drama. We wish you would simply view it as a drama."
