In an interview with the 'Get It Beauty' production crew, Vivian had expressed her frustration at only being known as Yuri's cousin. However, according to Vivian, 'Get It Beauty' edited out certain part of the interview and made it seem as though she said what she didn't mean. On Instagram, Vivian vented her concerns on being misunderstood from this so-called 'evil editing (manipulative editing usually done to fulfill an agenda or cater to already existing or widely accepted beliefs, often achieved in a sensationalistic fashion).'
When Vivian's Instagram post blew up in the media and caused heated debate among netizens, 'Get It Beauty' stepped forward with an official statement. A rep from OnStyle told media outlet The Fact in a phone call, "No parts were omitted through editing," and claimed, "The 'Get It Beauty' crew talked things over with Vivian's side. We've peacefully resolved any misunderstanding. There was absolutely nothing omitted with edits."
