In his recent interview with 'Vogue China,' G-Dragon got a bit personal about the years he's spent at YG and how all those years have shaped him into the person he is today.
The idol said, "I earned the opportunity to stand on stage with many senior artists at YG, and naturally I gained stage experience. I also learned how to write and compose music. Those days have made me who I am today."

GD also imparted some sound advice on all the trainees who harbor big dreams of making it big in entertainment. He advised, "The most important thing is knowing what you are good at. You have to believe in yourself, challenge yourself, and push yourself until the very end; that's the only way you'll succeed. Rather than a trainee depending blindly on the system, the creator and the trainee must work together to do whatever they can and chase after the dream. You must think of this process not as work but something that you enjoy. Musical success depends on how much you enjoy it and how much you are willing to put in. Luck must follow, too."
