The 4 members, who were originally studying dance in college, talked about changing their career paths to debut in a girl group. Member SeoAh stated, "Every girl dreams of being in a girl group. There was a slump during the time I was studying dance, and I think that somehow led me here."
Sehee added, "We did debut in a girl group, but to be honest, there's some regret [when we think about giving up dance and choosing Mercury], but this feeling would've existed even if we made the other choice." Sehee also revealed her parent's opposed her choice, adding, "They are still against it, but I believe they will support me since its the choice I made."
