Former EXO member Tao (now professionally known as Z.Tao) had trouble stopping the tears that came unbidden during a preview for his upcoming film 'Edge of Innocence' where he also revealed his new MV "19."
During the preview session which took place this past June 12, Tao burst into tears once again after watching a video message from his grandmother. After managing to regain his composure, Tao opened up about all the hate netizens directed toward him, tearfully mentioning that some people even verbally harangued his family members.
The singer/actor relayed sorrowfully, "Life is short. It passes quickly. I don't know how society changed like this. I never thought myself a star. This is just my work; celebrities are people, too. Do people really have the time to attack me and my family online? They could be using that time to better themselves. I never killed anyone or broke the law. I'm just living my life."
You can watch Tao talk more about the hate comments in the clip above.
We need to break down the walls that are created by anonymity on the internet and show that cyber-bullying will not be tolerated and hate comments do not suddenly become okay just because people do not know exactly who is saying it. Let’s spread more positivity and peace.
