DOCTORS - EPISODE 2
There will be a lawyer chasing after them in 3,2,1...
Our heroine makes a decision to "live differently." And she does. She studies hard, makes friends, and helps save a stranger's life. But not everything is sweetness and light -- Hye Jung places first on a math test, and the smart girl who tutored her, Seo Woo, is jealous, and decides to make trouble by posting a malicious rumor about Hye Jung and the teacher on social media. But when Soon Hee assembles the two to get them to make up, a combative Seo Woo ends up unconscious as the building starts to burn...
We learn that Ji Hong's parents were killed in a car accident while he was very young, so the president of the hospital is not a blood relation. That explains why, last episode, two admins were talking about taking the hospital over when the old man passes, as there were no heirs. Doesn't quite explain why Ji Hong is his legal guardian, however.
What happens if you listen to BTS' "Fire" too loud
So now we get the mean girl. I was wondering when that would happen. It's a standard trope in teen drama, even though it went from good to bad in a single episode.
Speaking of pacing, Hye Jung is no longer the troubled teen and turns her life around. She claims its luck, but it's not. Too quick? Not really. She sees how good it feels to make a difference, and the fruits of success are not always tangible.
Come on! This is no place to play 'Light as a feather, stiff as a board!'
Okay, this is officially my new favorite drama. It's got action, suspense, victories, and moving moments. I wasn't sure I'd find something as gripping as 'Who Are You: School 2015,' but now I finally have. :)
