Kim, the perpetrator responsible for the senseless Gangnam murder, has apologized for his crime during a revisit to the crime scene.
On the morning of May 24, Kim had made his way over to the crime scene once again, led by law enforcement officials and surrounded by reporters. Authorities took Kim back to the scene to have him reenact exactly how he carried out his murder.
It was during this trip to the scene that Kim opened up and apologized for his crime. He said, "I didn't have any personal grudges or feelings. I'm apologetic toward [the victim's] family. I feel personally sorry toward the victim."
Police further revealed on this day that after a re-inspection of the crime scene, they will indict Kim and have him undergo a psychiatric evaluation.
