In a short clip that is no longer than two minutes, the viewers see several different young people sit down and talk to their friends and then look at a video on a laptop. These youngsters of course, don't know that they were being secretly filmed for the experiment nor were they aware of the fact that the 'problems' that their friends talked to them about were actually the problems of their parents.
When one of the girls in the video discovered that that it was her mother who was speaking to her through her friend, she gets teary-eyed, dabbing at her tears with her hands.
The video informs us that on average, we talk to our friends a total of 120 minutes out of the day while we only talk to our parents for 10 minutes a day, making the profound point that we should communicate with our parents more often.
