LUCKY ROMANCE - EPISODE 2
Again with the animal costume. I'm sensing a theme here...
This is probably where it should have started. She's in bed after a drunken night, and he's frantically brushing his teeth after she apparently kissed him and vomited at the same time (ew).
The sequence of events in this episode is much less frenetic and actually makes sense. After a competitor steals ZeZe Factory's product, boss Soo Ho demands a new game -- in two day's time. After uninspired suggestions, Bo Nui pitches one that's awesome and sells it quickly to a rival company. He makes a house call...
"I'm not letting you talk til you agree not to let your character end up alone this time!"
So last episode we saw tennis superstar Gary Choi expressing interest in Bo Nui's doings, and this episode we find they grew up together. But then he moved to Canada and she forgot all about him. He caught her interest by saying he was born in the Year of the Tiger, but was he really? Not only that, but with a date in the picture, is Ryu Joon Yeol going to end up alone in yet another drama?
Bo Nui swaps out jobs like one might do with outfits. This time she's a seamstress, a convenience store clerk, and can apparently track down obscure software bugs. This woman truly seems to be a jane-of-all-trades. But that's part of the fun: what is she going to be doing this week? Just watch...by the end she'll be a nuclear physicist or a brigadier general.
Aww...he's got Second Lead Syndrome
I actually enjoyed this one a lot more. There were a lot more things to laugh at,and it seemed less contrived. Plus there was some video game goodness. So it's either gotten better, or I've simply grown used to the chaos.
