A ton of viewers are probably eager to see a second season of the hit KBS drama 'Descendants of the Sun', but it looks like fans will have to settle for the original run.
At an interview on April 19, Kim Won Suk was asked about the possibility of another season, and the co-screenwriter answered, "I don't have any thoughts about a second season. I've told the story I've wanted to tell. I hope that Yoo Si Jin (played by Song Joong Ki) lives a happy life without emergencies."
As for what kind of drama he'll be taking on next, Kim Won Suk answered, "I really want to do a historical drama. I also want to do something erotic. I'm curious when a 19+ Korean drama will be allowed to air."
'Descendants of the Sun' wrapped up on the 14th, but special episodes are scheduled for April 20-22. Would you want a second season?
