Who Wore It Better: Justin Bieber vs. IOI's Jung Chae Yeon

We've got some unlikely opponents for this edition of 'Who Wore It Better': We're pitting Canadian-born pop sensation Justin Bieber against IOI's Jung Chae Yeon in this round!

You probably weren't expecting such a weird pairing but you know a 'WWIB' article is due when such big stars in the Western and Eastern hemispheres are caught dressed in a similar piece; the opportunity is just too rare to pass up.

The piece spotted on Bieber and Chae Yeon is a Rangers jersey, which the former wore to the 2016 iHeartRadio's Music Awards and which the latter wore for DIA's past promotions. Keep in mind that the jersey Chae Yeon wore is a modified version of the actual Rangers jersey, and previously, DIA had garnered a brief international spotlight for wearing these jerseys, even getting a shout-out from Chris Kreider!

Now getting back on topic...though the jerseys the two are wearing may look the same with just a noncommittal glance, if you take the time to look a bit closely, you'll notice that the jersey worn by Chae Yeon had been modified to be worn as a dress. So what this 'WWIB' ultimately boils down to is whether the jersey looks better as a jersey on Bieber or whether it looks better as a short dress on Chae Yeon.

Justin Bieber had gone for the laid-back, casual look, dressing down the jersey yet adding a touch of edge with ripped jeans, tousled hair, and high-top sneakers that also look suspiciously like boots. Chae Yeon, on the other hand, paired the jersey-dress with a snap back, knee-high socks, and what look to be Converse shoes.

After studying both outfits, I have to pin my vote on Chae Yeon, though she's not wearing the 'real thing' and probably not a fan of the Rangers or Kreider for that matter. Bieber's look is a tad too disheveled for my taste; he looks like he just rolled out of bed, put on the first outfit he saw in his closet, and sauntered on over to iHearRadio's Music Awards. The Biebs may be one of the hottest stars right now but that hairstyle and fashion are the farthest thing from hot...#sorrynotsorry. Chae Yeon, however, is rocking that jersey-turned-dress (jerdress..?)! I know it's something that was thrown on her by the stylist at her label, but it's still cute nonetheless, and I like how the accessories add a refreshing, cheerful aura to the outfit as a whole.

So winding down my long spiel, the jersey looks better as a dress on Chae Yeon rather than as what it is on The Biebs (For the record, I got nuthin' on Biebs...just not feeling that outfit.).
