A person's thoughtless action on dealing with street kittens has become a topic of heated debate among netizens.
The said person had written a post online this past April 25, sharing the story of how she had discovered newborn kittens with their eyes barely open and decided to bring them home.
Under a post titled 'Street kitties with their eyes barely open,' the person shared a photo of two kittens in a box and wrote, "I'll put my all into raising [these kittens]."
Around an hour later, the person uploaded another post, writing, "I've returned one kitten. When I returned it and stood watching at a distance, [I saw the mama cat] take it back."
Apparently, several netizens found fault with this person's action in taking the kittens away from their mother.

Some people commented, "It's kidnapping when the kittens have a mother," and, "Cats and other wild animals don't accept the babies that smell like humans. What are you going to do about that one kitten you returned," while others argued, "It's better [for the kittens] to be brought home rather than be raised on the dangerous streets," and, "Isn't it also stealing from the mother when we adopt pets?"
