Figure skating queen Kim Yuna throws out the first pitch at opening day baseball game!

Kim Yuna the 'figure skating queen' threw out the ceremonial first pitch for the Samsung Lions at the 2016 Tire Bank KBO League's grand opening day game on April 1. 

Looking a little jittery, Kim stepped onto the field and took her place close to the pitcher's mound. Though she's as graceful as a swan and lithe as a cheetah on ice, it seems Kim may not be the best baseball player. She threw the ball with all her might but unfortunately, it didn't manage to reach home plate, rolling easily into the catcher's mitt.

Though she may not have thrown the best pitch, Kim Yuna stayed classy, relaying that it was an "honor to throw the pitch for the first time at the Lions' park," and added, "Lions fighting!" 

The Samsung Lions officially opened up their new ballpark 'Daegu Samsung Lions Park' on this day but lost to the Doosan Bears with a score of 5 to 1.
