Giant pandas Le Bao and Ai Bao are now officially settled into Korea's amusement park Everland, after having traveled all the way from China.
Male panda Le Bao and female panda Ai Bao came to Korea subsequent the Chinese-Korean Summit held back in 2014. During this summit, the two countries agreed to bring Le Bao and Ai Bao into Korea for the purpose of public research on the currently endangered giant panda species.
Le Bao and Ai Bao were revealed the the public for the first time on April 21, after landing on Korean soil in early March and being introduced to a select few Everland employees.

There about 2,000 giant pandas in the entire world, and only 50 of them are outside of China, making them an endangered species.
