TWICE's member Tzuyu has unfortunately found herself in a new controversy - but luckily, she doesn't seem to be getting the brunt of the hate this time.
On the March 13 installment of SBS's 'Inkigayo,' G-Friend and TWICE had a special collaboration stage where they covered Girls' Generation. However, the problem arose from member Tzuyu's wardrobe as she wore a midriff-baring tank top with the words "HOES TAKE OFF YOUR CLOTHES" written across her chest.

Rather than getting angry at Tzuyu, netizens relayed it was a pity, wondering if she had to really wear such a shirt as a minor. Netizens wrote, "What could she have known when she wore that... She just put on what was given to her. You can barely even see it; please just leave Tzuyu alone now - she's a young girl and it seems like people are antsy because they can't hunt her down," "The attire isn't even for her official promotions, and for a special stage like that, they're mostly clothes from a sponsor or chosen by a stylist... Unless the stylist had studied abroad, it'd be hard for her to know English slang, right? ;;; The standards [of netizens] are bit severe," "Such a silly thing is a controversy. Tzuyu wore what was given to her, and would the stylist have dressed her knowing that slang? It's the first time even I heard of it," and, "The stylist probably just brought the outfit not knowing English... However, it's my first time seeing 'HOES' too ;; of course it's not known if it's slang."
