Septic tank vehicle crashes into someone's home

On March 23, an accident occurred at 1:55 PM in Cheongju in which a septic tank vehicle (for collecting waste) slipped on a downhill road that was elevated by one meter, crashing through the wall of somebody's home below.

The whole driver's portion of the vehicle crashed through the wall, as well as part of the septic tank, but thankfully, no one was inside the home at the time of the accident, so no one besides the driver was hurt.  Going off that, the driver was fortunately revealed to not have sustained severe injuries and received treatment at the hospital.

On this day, at 3PM, a crane came to remove the vehicle from the home.  The driver stated, "In the process of braking on a downhill road, the head portion of the truck suddenly leaned forward and my foot went off the brake pedal, causing the accident."

It was revealed that the day before the accident, the car had been "repaired" at a car garage. Meanwhile, the police is trying to grasp for sure what caused the accident based on the driver's testimony.
