'Produce 101' is again mired in a sticky situation, and its production crew stepped forward to release an official statement.
This time around, the problem involved an unfair voting system, which the viewers protested. The 'Produce 101' crew told Star News on Tuesday, "We are in the middle of preparing a 'captcha' system because we felt that it was imperative to catch any unfair voting that may occur now that the show is halfway through. We intend to thoroughly prevent the using of multiple ID's to vote, which disturbs the system, by introducing a 'captcha system.' We will implement this system starting from the third voting cycle."
The show was forced to take preventative measures when it was brought to their attention that people were using fake emails to create Twitter accounts in order to vote multiple times.
