On March 14, upcoming MBC drama 'Goodbye Mister Black' held its opening press conference.
During the event, reporters couldn't help but pop the question about the drama directly competing in the Wednesday-Thursday time slot with KBS2 drama 'Descendants of the Sun'.
Lead actor Lee Jin Wook commented, "Our drama isn't about soldiers. Rather, my character is a former soldier. It's hard to point out distinct differences between us because there aren't many scenes where I I'm an on-screen soldier, but the clear difference is that I'm a naval soldier and he's an army soldier."
Lead actress Moon Chae Won also gave her two cents, saying, "I've worked on a project with Song Joong Ki in the past. I'll cheer him on, since we're close acquaintances. I also think because the stories are different and the messages they're trying to deliver are different, there will be some audiences who will be drawn to our story. I'll partake in filming with the thought of satisfying those audience members."
It looks like 'Goodbye Mister Black' will be giving 'Descendants of the Sun' some tough competition! 'Goodbye Mister Black' premieres on March 16. Which will you be tuning in to?
