Jessi appeared on JTBC's 'Please Take Care of My Refrigerator' on March 21 where she was surprised with a video message from her mother!
Her mother said to the chefs via video, "I am living in America. I live separated from Jessi, but once in a while when I visit her, she eats a lot of snacks like chocolates. My child eats whatever she wants, so I worry a lot. Neither seafood nor mushrooms go near her mouth. I hope she will take this chance to learn and get familiar with food that she doesn't normally eat."

Hearing her mother's kind, thoughtful words and her tender, motherly concern, Jessi grew a bit teary-eyed. Kim Sung Joo asked her to return a video message to her mother, so she simply replied with, "Why greet her? Please don't ask me to do things like this.
