T-ara's Hyomin and Pittsburgh Pirates' infielder Kang Jung Ho are swept up in dating rumors, but both sides have declared the rumors as fallacy.

T-ara's agency MBK Entertainment had much of the same response, denying the rumor with, "She is just close friends with Kang Jung Ho. After she threw the opening pitch, they couldn't even meet because they were so busy."
Earlier, a media outlet had reported on baseless grounds that Kang Jung Ho and Hyomin had been dating for three months. However, it was confirmed that the relationship rumor is not true.
