A blog post uploaded recently by a netizen who goes by 'A' is stirring up a controversy. 'A' titled the said post "The true nature of 'Produce 101's evil editing of Heo Chan Mi" and expressed her wish for Heo Chan Mi and the rest of the contestants not to be used as "sacrifices for the show's 'evil editing.'"
'A' shared the contents of the letter that Heo Chan Mi's older sister had allegedly written to complain of the negative way 'Produce 101' portrays her younger sister. 'A' also added her two cents on the whole issue, claiming that 'Produce 101' is indeed practicing 'evil editing.'

Heo Chan Mi's older sister laments in her letter that Heo Chan Mi is misunderstood by the public because 'Produce 101' repetitively airs scenes of her messing up and edits her interviews to seem like she is biased.
She gives examples of these instances, specifically mentioning the show's second episode which apparently omitted the scene where Heo Chan Mi was complimented during her vocal lesson but included the scene where she blunders due to a strain on her vocal cords.
Further, according to what the sister wrote in her letter, 'Produce 101' cut out the scene where Heo Chan Mi complimented another contestant's performance with, "Her voice is pretty and she performs very well," and only included the scene of her saying, "I can acknowledge what needs to be acknowledged," making her appear haughty.
'A' then expressed her own viewpoints on the matter, complaining how unfair it is that Heo Chan Mi is constantly portrayed as someone who is selfish, has no talent, and only gives excuses for her shortcomings.
What are your thoughts? Are these claims believable or far-fetched?
