Looking at Korea from an outsider's perspective, especially as an outsider that is a K-Pop fan or simply a fan of Korean culture, Korea may seem like a wondrous place to visit, or possibly even live in.

Ironically, some Koreans living in Korea can't seem to wait to get out of the country. Why? Well, there are many reasons, among them the fact that it's near impossible for young people to find a job, the unbelievable amount of pressure placed on getting good marks and entering a respected university, preferably one of the three prestigious 'SKY' universities, Korean people's seemingly prejudiced attitude toward those pursuing an art-related career, low wages, a poorly-implemented welfare system, and the list just goes on and on.

Many Koreans who were interviewed expressed their desire to live in another country one day, and one of them even joked that anywhere would be better than Korea.
