Come March, Jung Woo Sung will visit Lebanon, where over 1 million Syrians are taking refuge.
The actor will be visiting the capital of Lebanon, Beirut and western Bekaa, which is where the refugees' makeshift shelters are set up, and share an uplifting speech on his hopes of the future and leave the refugees with a positive note on their current bleak situation.
With his departures just ahead, Jung Woo Sung relayed, "My heart is heavy thinking about directly meeting the Syrian refugees, whom I've only heard about through UNHCR and the news. I will listen to what these refugees need the most and try my best to spread awareness once I return to Korea so that there would be greater interest and support [of the Syrian refugees]. I sincerely hope that the civil war end soon and that there will be peace once more so that all the refugees can return home."
