On January 7, the Gyeonggi Provincial Police Agency's sexual violence unit has gotten ahold of hearing-impaired student A (16) and is investigating him on the charge of sexually assaulting his stepmother.

A is being charged with going to his 35-year-old father's house on this day at 1:30 PM and sexually assaulting his stepmother, B (27).  The results of the police investigation so far suggest that A, who was residing at a facility for the hearing impaired in Chungbuk, was allowed to spend the night elsewhere, so he went home, where the sexual assault happened.

When A's father returned home, he heard from B that she had been victimized, so he reported the incident to the police at 3:15 PM.  A rep from the police stated, "Having secured A's whereabouts, we plan to investigate into the exact account of what happened. B is not asking for punishment."
