South Korea went through vast changes over the past 60-something years, evolving with a near lightening speed in terms of its economy. The country went from being one of the poorest countries in the world after the ravages of war to rising in the ranks as an economic powerhouse among other developed nations. 
This rapid development was put into picture form by various photographers, visualizing the stark contrast between the Korea of the past and the Korea of the present.
Through the photos, it really hits you just how quickly and suddenly Korea evolved, a transformation which coined the term "Miracle on the Han River." The images are edited in such a way that infused select locations of the olden days along with the same location of the modern day, giving us a nice contrasting comparison.
Pretty cool, isn't it?
