Psy was one of the guests on the December 19 airing of 'Sketchbook,' talking about the slump he experienced after the explosive success of "Gangnam Style."�
Yoo Hee Yeol had asked the singer, "Is there every a moment when even the godly Psy feels nervous on stage?" Psy replied, "After 'Gangnam Style' was successful, I performed at City Hall, and honestly, I felt scared. There were 100,000 people there and I thought I'm really in big trouble.�What a singer needs is support but it felt like they were cheering for an athlete. There is a chance I may not score, so I thought wouldn't they be disappointed. It was hard.�

He continued, "I had started [the job] for laughs but one day there were 100,000 people at city hall, and among them, there were even elderly folk. After the success of 'Champion,' I experienced a ten-year slump. I think it'll take twenty years to overcome the 'Gangnam Style's slump. After 'Gangnam Style's success, the 'American disease' followed me. I revamped all the songs I wrote to release a new album," discussing all the hard work and some of the emotional turmoil he had gone through for his comeback.�
