On December 6 episode of KBS '1 Night 2 Days,' actor Kim Joo Hyuk revealed the real reason for leaving the program.
During his last day of filming, Kim Joo Hyuk was asked why he is leaving the program to which he opened up with, "Should I tell you honestly?"

Kim Joo Hyuk continued, "Honestly, this isn't my day job. I say this all the time, but I am a burden to this team. I think of how I should work harder and be ruined even more, but strangely I keep stopping myself.
The moment I stop myself, that's when I think that I've become a burden to this team. At first I wanted to take on the challenge for a year, but it's because of the members that I was able to do this until now."
