On MBC's 'Radio Star' on December 16, GOT7's Jackson surprised with the news that he got slapped pretty much as soon as he came to Korea.
"The first day I came to Korea, I went to the male dorms," he started. "I did not know anything at all about Korean culture at the time. I was used to multiple people showering [together] because I did sports when I was young. That's why I went into the shower, but a senior slapped me then casually got out. That's why I thought, 'Oh, that must just be Korean culture.' I don't know why he hit me," making everyone laugh.

The MCs joked, "Maybe he hit you because he welcomed you," and Jackson replied, "If he was welcoming me, why would he hit like that?"
Netizens could not hide their amusement, stating, "I like his random charms," "Cute," and, "It's funny he thinks slapping is part of the Korean culture." Well, dramas probably make it seem pretty common.
