These two Korean Jindoggae sure deserve some recognition for being the first of their kind to enter the First ROK Army Command as military dogs!
On November 17, the ROK Army revealed that two male Jindo dogs, named Wave and Yongpil, passed all the training and tests necessary to become the first ever Jindo dogs to aid the soldiers in their operations.
Jindo dogs, who are widely known to be fiercely loyal to their owners, have generally been unfit for military usage as they become uncontrollable when their owners are discharged.

However, Wave and Yongpil surmounted all odds, passing the screening after a conformance test, basic training, socialization, and specialty training to be registered as the first Jindo dogs in history to be a part of the ROK Army.
