Plans for the regular airing of MBC's Chuseok pilot program 'Lazy Hitchhikers' Tour de Europe,' which marked Noh Hong Chul's official return to the small screen, was reported to have fell through.
This past October 30, MBC announced the reorganization of their program schedule, revealing that they will regularly broadcast 'Great Inheritance' and 'Capable Ones' which aired as pilots during the Chuseok holiday.
'Lazy Hitchhikers' Tour de Europe,' which had also broadcast as a pilot program during Chuseok and served as Noh Hong Chul's possible return to TV after a one-year hiatus, will not be added to the MBC's regular program schedule. This will further push back Noh Hong Chul's official comeback to variety TV.

After the first pilot episode of 'Lazy Hitchhikers' Tour de Europe' aired on Chuseok, Lee Ho Jae, the director of a documentary of the same name, raised the concern that the program failed to give the original work due credit. Further, the program was said to have received mixed reactions from the viewers who didn't think it appropriate to call the cast members 'lazy.'
