Media outlet YTN conducted an interesting study recently that aimed to determine whether drivers acted differently towards an exotic, expensive foreign vehicle as compared to a more affordable domestically manufactured vehicle.
YTN uploaded a video titled 'The Miracle of Moses...Super vs. Minicar,' which experimented how people reacted to vehicles of vastly differing quality.
The foreign car used in this experiment was a ~$500,000 Ferrari while the domestic car used was a ~$15,000 Kia.
When the Ferrari put on its blinkers to switch lanes, the car in that lane immediately slowed down and put as much distance between the Ferrari and itself as possible. However, when the Kia attempted to do the same, no one bothered to yield and passed it at breakneck speeds. The title of 'Miracle of Moses' seems appropriate because people part clear lanes for the supercar much like the story of the parting of the Red Sea in the Bible.

Further, in another scenario where the Ferrari and Kia idled when the light changed from red to green, the drivers waited a whole ten seconds before honking at the Ferrari but only gave three seconds before they honked in impatience at the Kia.
When the Ferrari was parked in a right-turn lane, other cars only looked on; however, when the Kia was parked, the other cars threatened the driver to move his vehicle.
