Apparently, there was a lengthy discussion between the actor and the drama's staff just to determine the most 'most-like' hairstyle for the character Sung Joon. Park Seo Joon confessed, "I had a lot of discussions with the staff members about my hairstyle but ultimately, we thought that styling it up is the way to go. We studied the different ways we could make the style look modern even with my full forehead showing. Because Sung Joon is a character who is sensitive to fashion, we wanted to show a perfectly done up image for him in public places; so we put his hair up, and only left it down when he was home."

The actor continued, "Personally, I like it when my hair is up. I don't have any sharp features on my face so I felt that my eyebrows should be showing. Because I don't even have double eyelids, if I put my hair down, my face appears too plain. And for convenience's sake, it's better for my hair to be up during filming," and relayed a humorous tale of how everyone is asking this hairdresser for the 'Ji Editor-in-chief' hairstyle. He said, "I heard one person even came all the way from Eumseong County to Seoul to get his hair done [like mine]," laughing.
