SEE ALSO: Colleagues mourn the sudden death of Song Jae Rim
On a side note, is anyone else amazed that Sung Joon hasn't forgotten a first love from elementary school for over fifteen years? I can barely remember what I did two days ago (oh yeah, I was wasting my time watching this drama...), or what I ate for breakfast this morning, let alone whom I liked when I was in grade school. I have to commend Sung Joon for remaining so loyal to Hye Jin all this time.
Obligatory shower scene. Ohhhhhhhhhhh yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
Ha Ri continues to spin her web of lies, glamorizing herself as the fake Hye Jin and luring Sung Joon into her trap. However, Sung Joon is realizing that there is something off about this 'Hye Jin.' The first red flag was when 'Hye Jin' extended her hand out into the rain. Sung Joon considered this strange as the real Hye Jin avoided the rain like it was the plague due to her frizzy hair. The second instance where Sung Joon realized something was off was in the following scene. Unlike the real Hye Jin who shouts, "Leggo!" when the green light flashes, the fake 'Hye Jin' doesn't say anything of the sort.
Is this birch lying to me...
Meanwhile, Shin Hyuk carries on making funny faces and trying to progress his love lines with Hye Jin, Ha Ri, and now, Sung Joon.
hay. hay. haaaaaayyyyyyy. Me gusta the way you sleep.
Girls love it when you pretend to listen to their problems...
...and when you pretend to care about them.
aw yeah!
While Shin Hyuk is busily hatching his love lines with three people, some major events transpire near the end of the drama. Ha Ri resolves that she will make Sung Joon hers no matter what, but her plans are botched when she is discovered with Sung Joon by her contemptible stepmother at a fancy restaurant. I was soooo hoping that Ha Ri will come clean at this point since she has stooped so low (stealing the puzzle piece and all) and there is no way to go for her but up...but nope, Ha Ri stooped even lower and dug herself into a deeper hole by throwing herself into Sung Joon's arms and seeking consolation. For her lies.
The other major event is at the very end when Sung Joon goes on a business trip with three employees. Of course, one of them backs out the last minute, forcing Hye Jin to go in her stead. Hye Jin, already distressed that she has to go on a trip with Sung Joon, is appalled when she discovers that she is going to have to ride with Sung Joon in his car. Alone. All by herself. It was so apparent that the drama would throw in a random trip for the two main leads to have some 'alone-time.' The fact that this idea isn't very original isn't what bothers me; that it wasn't Shin Hyuk who went on the trip with his beloved 'Jjacksen' is what upsets me the most. *sigh*
